Awesomely Radical Love Opens in Madison: A Yoga and Mindfulness Studio Created for the Misfits
MADISON, Wis. — Madison has a new kind of yoga studio—one that celebrates authenticity over perfection. Awesomely Radical Love (ARL), a newly opened yoga and mindfulness studio located at 3801 Regent Street, is redefining what wellness looks like by creating a space centered on community, inclusion, and belonging.
Queer- and neurodiverse-operated, ARL is a third space that offers inclusive, trauma-informed, modification forward yoga, mindfulness, and community programming where everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
"We didn't open another yoga studio," said instigator Tracy Hamm Warnecke. "We opened the place we wish we'd had—a place where you don't have to be flexible, fit, spiritual, or have your life together before you walk through the door. You just have to show up."
The studio believes collective breath builds confidence, resilience, and belonging. More than a place to practice yoga, ARL is creating a neighborhood gathering space where joy, rest, and love belong to everyone—and where community is built one conversation, one class, and one deep breath at a time.
"We believe strong communities begin with people feeling connected—to themselves and to each other," Warnecke said. "If someone leaves class feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, or simply knowing they aren't alone, we've accomplished something meaningful."
